IdeasToTasks ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy.

IdeasToTasks is a simple tool that helps you turn pasted AI output into Trello tasks. We are intentionally designed to process the minimum data required to provide the service and do not store your content.

What Information We Collect

1. Content You Paste

  • The content is processed temporarily to generate task suggestions.
  • We do not store, save, or log pasted content after processing.
  • Content is discarded immediately after the task creation flow completes.

2. Trello Authorization Data

  • We receive a Trello authorization token required to create lists and cards on your behalf.
  • This token is used only to perform the actions you request.
  • We do not read, store, or modify Trello data beyond the specific lists/cards you create.

3. Basic Usage Data

We may collect limited, anonymous usage data such as:

  • Page visits
  • Feature usage (e.g., “Create tasks” clicked)
  • Error events

This data is used solely to improve the product and does not include pasted content or Trello data.

What We Do Not Do

To be very clear:

  • We do not store pasted AI output
  • We do not train AI models on your data
  • We do not sell or share your data
  • We do not read your Trello boards beyond what you explicitly create

IdeasToTasks is built to be a stateless utility, not a data platform.

How Your Data Is Used

  • Parse pasted text into task suggestions
  • Create Trello lists and cards at your request
  • Improve product reliability and usability

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or advertising.

Third-Party Services

IdeasToTasks integrates with third-party services, including:

  • Trello – to create lists and cards
  • Analytics providers (if enabled) – to understand general usage patterns

Your use of those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention

  • Pasted content: Not retained
  • Trello authorization tokens: retained only as long as needed to provide the service
  • Anonymous usage data: retained in aggregate form

You may revoke Trello access at any time from your Trello account settings.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle, including:

  • Secure communication (HTTPS)
  • Minimal data exposure by design
  • Restricted access to operational systems

No system is 100% secure, but we intentionally limit risk by minimizing data collection.

Children’s Privacy

IdeasToTasks is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If changes are significant, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
