1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using IdeasToTasks ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
IdeasToTasks is a web-based tool that allows users to paste text (including AI-generated output), preview extracted tasks, and create lists and cards in Trello.
The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis and may change over time as we improve the product.
3. No Accounts Required
At this time:
- We do not require user accounts.
- Access to Trello is granted via Trello’s authorization process.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Trello account and permissions.
4. User Content
What You Provide
You may paste text into the Service for the purpose of generating task suggestions.
Our Handling of Content
- We process pasted content only to perform the requested task extraction.
- We do not store, retain, or reuse your pasted content.
- Content is discarded immediately after processing.
You represent that you have the right to use and submit any content you provide.
5. Trello Integration
By connecting your Trello account, you authorize IdeasToTasks to:
- Create Trello lists and cards on your behalf
- Perform only the actions you explicitly request
We do not:
- Access unrelated Trello data
- Modify existing boards or cards unless instructed
- Retain Trello data beyond what is necessary to complete your request
You may revoke access at any time through Trello’s settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the Service
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
- Submit malicious, harmful, or automated content intended to disrupt the Service
We reserve the right to restrict access for misuse or abuse.
7. Intellectual Property
IdeasToTasks and its underlying software, design, and branding are owned by us.
You retain all rights to your content. We do not claim ownership over anything you paste into the Service.
8. No Guarantees
While we aim to provide accurate task extraction:
- We do not guarantee correctness, completeness, or suitability of generated tasks.
- You are responsible for reviewing tasks before creating them in Trello.
The Service is intended as a productivity aid, not a decision-making authority.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- IdeasToTasks shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for data loss, task errors, or Trello API issues
- Your use of the Service is at your own risk
10. Service Availability
We may:
- Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
- Introduce limits or changes without prior notice
We are not obligated to provide ongoing availability or support.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
